The views out the windows and from around the property are incredible and the place is so very peaceful with lots of dragonflies and birds
There are so many little things to look at. Everywhere throughout the property there were thoughtful little touch touches.
We stayed in the king suite which was bigger than our first apartment. I slept better than I did at home. There were outlets enough for everything, including both of our CPAP machines.
We do a lot of vacation homes so I usually bring a lot with me because I never know what the house is going to have, but this one had everything plenty of paper, towel towels, and paper products for the kitchen
Soaps and lotions and bath products for the tub and even a little first aid kit
The kitchen was very well appointed. it had many appliances. I think I even saw an air fryer and a crockpot.
I made six medieval meals in that kitchen with no problem. It was a joy to work in.
The property manager and the caretaker were very prompt and made sure that everything was OK and got back to us right away
We were very sad to leave.
It really felt like we were far away from home even though we were only a couple hours away. My medieval history buff, Lord of the Rings loving husband was thrilled with everything about the place.

I loved the seclusion and beauty of this property. I was solo this time renting just the cabin, but it would be a fantastic location for a large gathering with friends and relatives if you also rented the main house. You are a little ways (Maybe 10 minute drive) to stores or resturants. But that might also be considered part of it's charm.

The view was beautiful and serene. I appreciated all of the thoughtful and delicate design touches throughout the cottage and the surrounding land. The pond and various dragons were wonderful features. We had a lovely time and would be thrilled to visit again. I had no complaints. The one issue I told the manager about was quickly addressed and resolved.

The property felt magical to be on! The view of the castle and the decorations around it were incredible, and the feeling inside the cottage also felt like it was out of a fairytale!

This property is full of unique charm beautiful details and charm. The dragon statues and the frogs singing in the pond were absolutely magical. There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like, it’s perfect.

The castle is absolutely gorgeous! It's quiet, the landscape is breathtaking, and the castle itself made us feel like we were in another world. The secret door was thrilling, made us feel like kids again! The only issue we had was the Wifi, it was very spotty and inaccessible for the entire stay; it would have been nice to know beforehand so that we could prepare our needs prior.
Planning on coming again, next time with any needed online material already prepped!

The gate code and door code were easy to remember for us, the castle grounds are gorgeous, garden art is abounding, decorations and comforts so full of style! Almost everything was perfect. However, while he slept better than at home, the pillows, sheets and comforter were made with polyester, which made me sweat.

We had such a fun, relaxing time at the cottage. Our two dogs enjoyed sniffing around the castle grounds and we enjoyed the peace and quiet, while not being too far from nice cafes and restaurants. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, as was the groundskeeper. We're hoping to book the castle next!

What an amazing place to stay! The cottage layout is great, with two separate bedrooms, entertainment area, full bath, and great dining area and kitchenette. The cottage seems small from the outside, but seems very roomy indoors. We love the little details throughout the cottage and the grounds are amazing. Next stay, we want to give the outdoor fire pit a try Convenient location as well, with just a tem minute drive to either Monroe or Duvall
