This had to be the best Airbnb that I've stayed in. The cottage was charming and well stocked. My dog appreciated the expansive grounds to explore. And I enjoyed the frogs serenading us at bedtime.

My friends and I booked it for a bachelor party, and it was the perfect setting for an epic weekend of roleplaying, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
From the moment we arrived, we were transported into another world. The exterior is a true castle, with stone walls, and a grand entrance that immediately set the tone for the weekend. Inside, every room was carefully decorated with medieval and fantasy-themed touches from tapestries and shields to ornate furniture that made us feel like we were stepping into a D&D campaign.
This rental is perfect for anyone who wants to experience a truly immersive weekend of fantasy and fun. Whether you're hosting a D&D weekend, a bachelor party, or just a themed getaway with friends, this castle is the perfect backdrop for any adventure. Highly recommend, this place is an absolute treasure!

This place is an absolute gem and I highly recommend it. It's a stunning property that feels out in the woods but is close enough to a city to have easy access to food and other entertainment. We enjoyed walking around outside and looking at the statues, architecture, and decor. The decor/art inside the cottage is also amazing - we stayed for 3 days and we never stopped noticing new things that we loved! Angela and her property manager were very responsive and helpful. We tried several of the restaurants that Angela recommended and they were great as well. One thing I would mention just in terms of accessibility - the toilet is very sturdy, but it is quite low. The friend I stayed with is over 6 feet tall with lower back issues and he had a difficult time with it - if you have knee, hip, or back issues you might want to be sure to bring a walker or cane for support. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks Angela!

We rented the castle for a fantasy themed 30th birthday party, and it was wonderful! The location was clean and so fun to explore (hidden staircase anyone??) and the grounds were lovely and well manicured. The hosts were super helpful and accommodating as well. We are already planning our next stay here!

Cute and clean. Had a lot of charm! The grounds were fun to walk around and watch the fish in the pond. Getting pictures of the castle house was a bonus!

The castle was amazing and beautiful. We had a wonderful weekend, and everything went very good. The host was very nice, responsive and overall just a great host. We enjoyed our weekend in the wonderful and quirky setting. Some amazing features, the dinning room, it's just gorgeous, so much attention to detail and the upstairs bathroom, it was just beautiful! The only small (very small) issue, was the amount of guest we could have per day, but all was worked out well and quickly by the host. This is the perfect setting to host DnD games or a murder mystery dinner part or a giant game of hide and seek! Five stars, and would defiantly rent again!

I visited the castle with a group of friends for my 23rd birthday this year. The castle was everything I’d hoped for and more, the setting was perfect for a dnd one shot, the kitchen was accessible and was easy to prep food in, the furniture was impressive and there’s so many secret personal touches to find exploring the castle. Check under the stairs if you plan to visit, the secret passageway was my favorite little detail. The hosts went above and beyond, easy to communicate with, and extremely friendly. I recommend this castle to anyone wanting to make a trip special, truly the most beautiful place I’ve ever had the privilege to stay at. Only wish I’d gotten to take more pictures, I hope to visit again in the future!

I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday! The High Rock Castle exceeded all expectations. The property itself was beautiful and Angela & Daniel provided everything you could possibly need to feel at home. We especially loved all of the attention to details when it came to the decor and over all feel of the property. They were both incredibly gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. Communication from the moment that we booked was spot on and we all appreciated their attentiveness. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway.

My kids and I stayed at Angela's Castle for our annual Christmas Staycation Sleepover Celebration, and let me just say—this place was pure magic. Every nook and cranny sparked our imaginations, and we had so much fun exploring the property and marveling at the majestic surroundings. It truly felt like stepping into a fairy tale.
One of the sweetest surprises was finding a Christmas tree waiting for us, where we could place our presents—it made our celebration even more special. I can’t recommend this incredible experience enough. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate—book this adventure of a lifetime now! My kids and I made memories here that we’ll cherish forever.

We cherished our stay. My sister and her family joined us for Thanksgiving, and we rented a house to host a beautiful dinner. After 15 years apart, being together for this special occasion felt truly perfect.
